My Mom's visa got denied at Delhi Embassy for 214 (b).
I have following questions.
1) Do I need to resend all the sponsorship documents to her? The current documents are dated march 16, 2007, i am planning for last week of may, 2007
2) can we schedule visa appointment at Mumbai consulate instead of Delhi Embassy
3) what more supporting financial documents or other documents we should carry for next time?
4) Does the financial document need to be notarized or it has to be prepared by a CA.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

hi,
Its better u resend the docs becos the papers should not be as old as 6 months.try to send the latest.Dont worry about rescheduling every where its the same thing. Notarise the docs by a notary public.Ask ur mom to be prepared with the land docs, farming lands(if any) docs, etc....if its in the native language, try to translate and get it notarised....
Gud Luck!!!!!!!!!!
cheers,

1. Better if you do. If I were you, I would prefer to keep all dated material within a month of interview.
2. Not sure.
3. More as in compared to what? You must provide a list of what you had previously provided, so someone could suggest any additional docs that might help.
4. Tax returns, Bank Statements, Pay statements, etc do not need to be notarized. My employer provided me with an option to send a notarized Employment Verification letter, which I gladly accepted. Do not believe it needs to be notarized though.
