My Parents have visa interview scheduled in 2-3 days at Delhi Consulate. I have 2 questions:

1. Since, they don't live in Delhi, can anyone recommend which area they shoud stay and how to go to consulate. i.e. directions. How long it takes from Pahar Ganj? Any traffic problems? I have no idea how the rush hour traffic is in Delhi. They have 8 AM interview.

2. I heard that there may not be any need of Hindi translator as many counsulate officers speak and understand Hindi. Is it true?

From Pahargunj an auto might take around 100 bucks, takes from 30-45 minutes depending upon how quick you get out of pahar gunj.

Since this is morning 8 AM, I guess you should have your parents start at 6:00 AM from Pahar Gunj.

No Hindi Interpretor is needed as when they reach consulate they could ask for a Hindi translator, most of the times in Delhi, the VOs themselves would speak Hindi
