Hi
I came to india on vacation for a month and as my H1B visa was expired, so i went for restamping at delhi consulate on Feb 8th 07. But unfortunately i was issued 221(g) form. The counslar officer advised me that my applciation needs administrative processing and will get back to me in 4-6 weeks.
My concern is that it is over 2 months now and i have NOT heard anything back from them. I have left all my belongings and home over there. I am really worried about it. As i was already in US for abt last 3 years and just came for restamping, so what could be the possible reason? Can someone advise how long do they take?
Is there anyway that i can get to know the status or expidite the process through my company?
