Hi,

My parents will be travelling from Kolkata to Chichago by british airways.
They need to change flight in London at the same airport but another british airways flight.

Do they need transit visa.I read somewhere that these days the rules are changed and DATV (a type of transit visa , is required if you belong to India and you do not need to change airport but have to change flight in London ).

Anyone with this experience please respond.
Regards

Your parents won't need a DATV; since they are not going to leave the airport and have a valid visitor visa for the US and air tickets, they are exempt from DATV.
My Mom too is flying BA so I recently checked this information for her.

Hope your parents have a good vacation!
