Bith Place wrong in DS156

My parents are applying for visitors visa. My dad filled up DS 156 and he gave the birth place wrongly in DS 156. Does anyone have a idea how to correct it. Please let me know I would be glad

I think you can correct it online,
Even if not this is a minor mistake and wont have any adverse effect on the application, he can tell the fact when he go for interview.

But you cant correct it online so when my dad goes to the counsalate whom should he inform this correction? This is in Mumbai so we have to submit all the docs 3-4 prior to the interview date. Please let me know.
