Hello Murali:

I am currently a green card holder and my wife is US citizen. My parents visa has been rejected 3 times in past. ( Two time during my graduation ) and once last year.

I came here on student visa and have greencard since my wife is US citizen.

My parents visa got rejected in Jan2006. They are reapplying this April. Last time they asked whether I am on greencard and they said the truth. Further the consulate added that why has he (son) not filed for immigration and rejected their visa ?

What should they reply if the consulate asks the same question ?

Would current rejections affect their potential immigration in future ? ( I will be US citizen in 2 years approx.)

Your reply is greatly appreciated.

Shalin

It happens some times that applicants are unable to make their point, and that leads to the visa rejection. The key is the visa interview.
I would recommned to apply again with better preparation.
Do some home work and get some tips from others experiences. Read :

Good luck !
