L2 for Wife and Kid..

Hi,

I am on L1, the L1 visa in my passport is valid till Sep, 2004 but I-94 is valid till Sep 2005

My wife is also on L1 with almost same validity dates. Her project is over and She is going to India on some personal work and would come back on L2. We have a 18 months old kid too

now,
1)Should my wife and kid have to go for personal interview
2) Since my L1 visa is till Sep, 2004, will consular officer in India, reject her visa saying, your husband has just another 3 months visa..will this matters at all?
3) Any L2 rejections in recent days?

yeah they can apply through the Drop Box for dependent L2 category.
I dont think number of months a criteria for visa grant and officer think that way whether 3 months left of not , so dont worry too much on that
