How many dollers we can carry to US from India

Hi, Can anybody know how many dollers we can carry on Visitors VISA to USA

Max 10,000K total inlcuding cash/travelers check etc.
However if a person is visiting for Medical Travetmenet or any other sepcific reason this limit can be more.
