Visitor Visa for brother+ family + mom how to show ties back in India

Hi,

I am planning to sponsor my brother and his family to US. My mom statys with him and she is planning to accompany them. My father passed away a few years back.

My bro works with Defense research and his wife works in private engg college. his daughters are 16 and 9. How should we present our case? How do we show stong ties?

Should my mother go for visa separately? She has been to US before. Will this help my brother and his family to get visa?

I want to make sure we do everythign right! :)

Just to update you all. My brother went to visa with his family and mom did not go with them. Entire family got visa without any hassel. my brother and his wife got 10 yr multiple entry my nieces got 5 year multiple entry.

We are stuck as there are no open dates for my mother's interview. On second thought may be they all should have gone together.

Here is what happened at consulate. Whole family appreared for interview together.

VO (to my 16 Yr old niece ) : What do you do?
16 yr old: I appreaed for my 10th exam. Now I will go to college.

VO: Pardon ?
16 yo: I will go for 11th next year.

VO: Which school do you go to?
16yo: so and so.

VO: is it private school?
16yo: yes

vo: (To my 9 year old niece): So you work? Where do you work?(Smiling)
My brother translated the question to her. She nodes her head saying no.

vo: so what do you do?
9yo:4th standard

vo:which school do you go to?
9yo: so and so.

VO: So you go to same school as your sister does?
9yo:yes

Vo: what is your favorite subject?
9YO: English

vo:who runs this school
bro:its run by so and so organization

voto my SIL) who stays with you?
SIL: my mother in law stays with us.

vo: what about your FIL?
SIL: He passed away

Vo:what do you do?
SIL: I work for so and so college

VO: are you professor or lecturer?
sil:no I am technical assistant.

vo:how long you have been working there?
SIL: since last 17 years

voto my bro) where are you going?
Bro: San Fr.. I mean blah blah..

He started with wrong city then corrected himself.

VO:who is there?
Bro: my sister

Vo: what do you do?
bro: Central govt. as so and so

vo: how long do you plan to stay there?
bro: 6 weeks

vo:six weeks thats all?
bro: yes.

vo: ok you got visa. you will get passport in couple of days. Enjoy your stay in US.

All: Thaks.
