Non -expanded names in birth certificate

Hi All,

In my birth certificate, my name and my parents names are proper.

But the problem is surname is not expanded . Instead only intial is used.

For eg: if my surname is "abc" and name "xyz", it is given as "a.xyz"

Will this work or should I get a notary certificate?

I dont see any problem but no problem in getting a Affidavit from parents ..
