H1 Stamping. - Murali Pls reply

Dear Murali,

I was in USA under B2 visa in September. I got a job offer and my company applied for my H1 visa which got approved in Feb for 3 years. Now i need to know the following:

1) Where do i have to stamp my and my wifes visa? Can it be done in Canada or Mexico or it has tobe done onlyin India?

2) I plan to come down to India only after 3 -4 years. Is it advisable to stamp the passport after such a long gap.

3) What are the chances of our visa getting rejected in Indian COnsulate if i go now for stamping. As i had come on B2 visa will they question me why i applied for H1 and not stamp the visa.

Any chnage of category visa can only be stamped in your home country for any one( you or wife).
Each case is different and no one can tell whether or not or what chnaces for your visa refusal or Stamp grant .
