Duplicate H1 Petition

Hello,

This is my first thread, so please forgive me in case of any mistakes.
I have got my H1 transferred to my new employer. We did received the Courtesy copy for Approval notices from INS.

But we didn't received the Approval notices yet. INS is saying that they have mailed and haven't yes received back as undelivered. We had made application for H1 transfer in Sept 2006.

My employer have made another application for Duplicate copy of Approval notices. Our lawyer is saying that this might take around 6 to 8 months.

My question is, if in case during this time If I need to switch to another employer , can I apply for H1 transfer along with the Courtesy copy of approval notices ?

yes u can, ur lawyer needs to write an explanation that org was lost in the mail.
