Visa Question

My mom got visa and it is stamped as 30-9-04 in the pass port. What does this mean? Does it mean that she can start anytime from India before that date or she can stay in USA until that date? Your early response is very much appreciated.

Is it the expiray date ?
Look like, that means the visa stamp is valid till taht date and she can enter into USA any time before that date, the actual stay in USA will be determined by the immigration officer at Port of entry at USA airport and the date will be given on I94 card.
