H1B stamping before october !!!

hi there,

I have applied for H1B processing with a consultant.

he says i can get stamping for year 2004 before october.Is it possible.nd he says that ,the H1 can be stamped before october,though it is valid from 1st october.

anyone please clear me this point.

yes it is possible to get it stamped before october 1st. im also in same situation. i had called us consulate in chennai, and they say we need to schedule the apointment on any day before 30 days of H1 effective date for stamping. you get all the details in their website
