Hello Friends,
Here is my situation:
(1) I got my H1b approval for Company 'A' on Jan 15, 2004
(2) This Company 'A' denied me of any leave and had to come back to India on April 15, 2004 without any papers from my employer due to urgent family reasons.
(3) Now I am employed to Company 'B' here in India and who now wants me to come to US for project work.
The company 'B' cant apply for a new H1B as the quota for this year is done. Meanwhile, I want to get VISA stamped of Comapny 'A' so that later it can be transfered to Company 'B'. I have seen the checklist for H1B stamping.
I have the following:
(a) H1B approval (I-797) paper
(b) Recent 3 months pay stubs
(c) Names & Contacts of Co-workers my previous employer
My Questions:
Q1. Please tell as to what are the possibilities for getting the VISA stamped.?
Q2. Can I be rejected? Any other valuable suggestions ... please let me know ASAP...
Q3. How much time will it take for getting the VISA stamped ???
Q4. Is using visa drop-box useful to get the VISA stamped quickly??
