H1b Transfer w/o recent paystubs!!!

I got my H1B stamped 6 months back from company A and currently in India. But the company is not able to find suitable project or opening for me in US. Is it possible that I travel to US and apply for a H1B transfer thru Company B without any recent paystubs? What are the chances of H1B transfer without a recent paystub?.....mrk

Travelling to USA without a confirm job could be risky as on Port of entry you may be asked questions.
Secondly it will be difficult to get a trnafer without paystub and other employment related documents. Better to get a new H1 with a new employer and then come.,
