In laws applying for visa - who can send documents

My husband & I are both working. I want to apply for my in laws visa. Would it be better if my husband sent the supporting documents or it doesnt matter which one of us sends the documents?

I am concerned that @ the time of interview they may ask questions like "Why didnt your son send supporting documents?"...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

technically any one can sponsor, better your husband provides the sposnsore for his parents..
