Hi,
I want to apply for visitor visa for my parents. My father had changed his name from
V.Rajaraman to P.V.Rajaram as per numerology. However I did not update my father's name in my passport. I did not change my last name(surname) too . Will this be a problem for getting the visa?

Getting the name chnaged appropriately will certainly help you.
I am sure when he chnaged his name he must have put a notice in local news paper? and any affidavit of support will also do along with that news apper notice if any ?

thanks. i cannot change my father's name/my surname in the passport now as i can't send the passport to india by post. my father has affidavit for name change. can he show that and say that i did not update my passport. will that be acceptable?
