Hi,
I need some information on this. My son (15 months old ) is in India and he had tourist visa for 10 years. I can not bring him here due to personal reasons and he has to stay for more than 6 months. I applied for registration but home ministry is saying that I had to get his visa converted to some other type (they did not mentioned which type)
Can anyone guide with more information . I read on website that children under age of 16 years do not require to register even if their stay is more than 6 months. Is it true ? Is their any other way to get his stay extended, while retaining US citizenship. Please help
