Background

I am GC holder and residing in US for the past 8 years, my mom is a widow and I have a brother studying in India.

First Attempt - Apr 2006 (Tamil)

Usual questions (How many sons?,Why do you want to go to USA?)

Third Attempt - Mar 2007 (Tamil - No translator (anglo-indian lady))

1. How many sons u have ?
2 - 1 in USA, 1 in India
2. Why was your visa rejected last 2 times?
3. What is your income?
30k/Month - Rental
4. Why do you want to go to USA ?
5. Can I see the Property docs ?
6. Can I see the documents your son has sent ?
7. How many childeren does your son has?
8. What visa is he in ?
9. Where does he work ?

VO: Inspite of 2 rejections I am granting you VISA, make sure u come back in 6 months


** Pretty much same set of docs all three times. The only diffrence is we made big family photos and only the third time the VO took time to gothrough all the docs (for about 30 min)

Lot of sleepless nights paid off atlast, and thanks very much to this site for all the knowledge I gathered.

What did she answer for question # 2?

She did mention that the first time, she didn't have proper documents (where as she actually had) and the second time she was rejected based on potential immigrant which is not true because i have so and so family ties and financial ties etc.
