Hi all,
Hope you all remember me. I am Jaya and I was a very active participant on this board until Nov-06.
My parents recently left back to India after their 4-month trip. My dad mentioned that their I-94s weren't taken when they were boarding the international flight at Memphis. My dad is casually saying 'they didnt ask for them and we didnt give. why worry?'. But I remember reading in one of the posts that I-94 must be mailed back to USA for proper hand-over.
Please advise me if anyone knows the procedure to send the I-94s by mail.
Thank you in advance.
- Jaya.

Hey Jaya,
Slightly off topic but I was hoping you could tell me what insurance you finally bought for your parents?
If I remember correctly, you were looking thru the various options on this website..
Thanks!

I got 'Inbound USA' insurance through path2usa.com's website. I selected $50K maximum with $50 deductible. Since my parents did not have to see a doctor during their stay, I can't say whether the insurance was good/bad. But, I selected this one after researching several choices. My parents were 59 and 55 yrs old and were in good health (my mom has mild BP).
By the way, I did even more rigorous research while selecting a policy for my MIL who is 69yrs old and who has Diabetes. Even after doing so much research, I ended up getting the same insurance for my MIL too. For any 'major' treatments this insurance doesn't work in our best interest as we may end up paying $5K-$10K from our pockets. But, none of the insurances cover pre-exisiting conditions any way. Most emergencies arise as a result of a pre-existing condition any way (Ex: Heart attack could occur because of BP or Cholesterol or Diabetes or due to obesity). So, even the 'best insurance' wouldn't cover such situations and hence I decided to get this insurance after spending several hours weighing out pros and cons.
Good luck with your decision!!

Thanks a lot Jaya! That was really helpful and I'm glad your parents didn't get a chance to use the insurance :)
I have to buy something for my Mom and had actually narrowed it down to Inbound USA.
Thanks again!

Hi Jaya, How is it going?
Hi there, thank you for checking. I am good but not able to spend as much time on this board these days. Life is busy with my parents and MIL's visits taking them around places etc.
