221(g) pending process

Hello All

We hav attended the j2 visa interview at chennai in india on 7th of feb 2007 but we were handed over a pink slip by the consulate general of the U.S.A stating that they recquire additional informtion under section 221(g) it is under pending adminstrative process and time given for this pending process is approximately 4 weeks from the date of interview but we haven't recieved any confirmation till today i.e 4th of march.
Any help appriciated.

i applied for h1b on the same date as urs, got 221g pink form. ur might be cleared quicker, see the .pdf need DS 20.. are clearing quickly than h1b

Do you know how to check status of 221G processing.Is there a website we can check status?
It is exactly a month since my parents visitor's visa interview when they were handed with 221G.I am on H1-B.

Where can we check if there is any tracker where we can track 221G clearing time and possibility.
