Hi There
My parents have an appointment with chennai consulate for visitor visa and i have a question about.
1) My father is retired and now (past 2 yrs) doing some agriculture in home town, Is there any tax filing documents to be shown if the income from agriculture is more than a limit?, if so what is cutoff income on farming.
the reason, i 'm asking is since my father has to show these documents (assests, property, financial income from farming) and an evaluation letter of all the assests from the CA, so as to make the consulate aware that my parents will be back to india after visting USA. But at the same time my father have to be prepared to make sure that he is filiing for taxes every year from the income he is making from farming, if it is more than the limit.
Any suggestions please.
Thanks in advance.
