Mother Got Visa but father had 221(G) pink slip back

My parents went for Tourist Visa at Chennai consulate on 1st March. My mother is a housewife and she got visa but my Father got 221(G) pink slip as an administrative process. Does any body has similar case . My father is a Central Goverment Employee and had visited USA once for 2 weeks and also other countries(almost 5) .Any ideas are appreciated..

It happens in few cases, they just want to verify some information, if your case is genuine you dont have to worry.. you will hear from them soon.

It's urgent.Please someone answere my question!!
I want to invite my parents to USA and I'm on H1b visa(working) .Is this possible that instead of me, my husband can invite my parents. Because my job is new and I don't two recent pay checks and enough money in my bank account.:confused:

Even for my parents though i am working, my husband has invited them a part of In-Laws, Your husband can invite your parents without any problem
