Open ticket - Issue at Immigration?

Friends,

My MIL got 10-year visa and I am planning to book the ticket. Will it be OK if I book a round trip OPEN ticket from India to US? Will it create any issues at POE?

My parents came with a open ticket and they still gave them 6 months on I -94. So it doesnt matter to them. They will give the I-94 as they like unless we say we want to stay for more than 6 months.
