Father's visa 3rd attempt

Hi ,
I have been visiting this site since sometime now and I find it very helpful.:) We got the papers made as it was suggested .My parents visa got rejected 2 yrs ago in Mumbai consulate twice on basis of no ties back in INDIA as we two sisters are in USA.:(
Last week we applied for my mom only and she got 10 yrs visa as she showed that they bought a house and dad is not coming now .
We want our parents to come together .Is it possible to apply for my dad within a month or two without my mom coming to USA before his interview.
Will this be a reason for rejection?If he shows only financial ties and not family ties, will the visa be rejected on the basis that why didn't they apply together.
Please advice.All of your suggestions will be very useful.

Yes your father can apply any time.
I dont think they keep such details that what your mother told abt your father travel.Also it is a personal decision and one can change their mind.
Dont worry, prepare well and apply for your father..

I am in the same situation. But my parents visa got rejected on 28th Feb. Nothing will change between now and the next interview which I am hoping to take in Apr.

BTW is ur dad retired or working? Just wanted to knwo bcos..i can make some decisions based other people's experience.

My dad is working parttime after retiring.2 yrs ago when their visa was rejected the first time they said it was because of no family and financial ties:confused: (bank account,deposits,house was shown)
We applied again after 3 mths and the only Q they asked was what's the change between last interview and now.Reply was not much.so they said then why did u apply?Some change is a must.so it was again rejected.
I think they need to see prominant change in the aplicant's situation between the interviews.

The VO was a very friendly smiling lady.the q's were
VO:why do u want to go to usa?
mom:to visit my children and tourism purpose
VO:how many kids?
Mom:two girls.
VO:Where r they?
mom:xxxx and yyyy
VO:what do ur kids do
mom:1 is working other is housewife
VO:you want to go alone . u r husband doesn't want to meet kids?:)
mom:he cannot go as we have bought a new house and he is busy with the supervision of construction.
VO:how many mths would u like to go?
mom:1 mth.
VO: u will get ur passport in 3 days via courier.
that's it.
from our experience i would say that u r parents should show some definite change if u r applying within a short period of time.
