Hi,

My parents had an interview yesterday but their visa was rejected on the grounds that they do not have enough economic ties in India.

I do not know the details of the questions asked but I have a idea of what was asked. They were asked about my sister who is India and who will take care of her and how many properties do they have? My dad said that one of their relatives will be taking care of their daughter and that they have 1 house in India (whereas they have 2 houses). I guess that is the mistake my dad did.

Also, when asked who was taking care of my sister when they were in Dubai..he said she was staying in the Hostel. The fact is my mom was staying with her for sometime and for sometime she was alone.

1. Can someone please guide me as to what should be our next step. I was thinking that my mom can apply separately for the visa and dad can apply separately. Or should they go together again??

2. Also, can they change the answers they gave previously like the fact that my mom was staying with my sis before when they were in Dubai and that they 2 properties. They do have docs to prove the 2 properties.

I think beign the first time my parents just got a little nervous.

Any advise would be great.

Thanks

Dont worry, apply again.
This time make sure that they provide the correct and proper answer. No ned to tell any kind of lies.
Prepare well for interview and take all possible property documents. Prepare an Affidavit of Property or/ Financial Assets Statement.

Thanks for your reply. Will be good to apply together or separately. Can they apply separately to come together??

Also can the answers be changed. The fact is my mom was staying with my sis while my dad was in Dubai. My dad made a mistake. Can it be rectified? Please help..
