Hi Murali,

I am in a situation that I need your guidance on this. I had previous rejections for my US visa for f-1 (1997) and b-1 (2000 thru a company). Both on the account of 214(b). After that I didn't try till now. The reasons were not clear except the code.

However, now my company has filed my H-1 and I need to go for interview. But now my brother is a green card holder as well.

I don't know my chances of getting it successfully. I hv got my papers processed thru MNC and client is also a big one. Now I am married and i can show some ties in India with property. But is it required for H-1?

Could you give me guidance on this? My confidence level is very low on this.

Regards
Shankar

Showing ties to India is not required for H1B. H1B has an immigration intent in it.

So your previous rejections won't matter at all.

Good luck
