Hi all
I attended my H4 visa interview at Delhi on Feb 15. After the interview I was asked for another Demand Draft for Rs 3910.00 along with fingerprints of all 10 fingers. Therafter I was informed they would contact me in 7-10 days. They did contact me yesterday and asked for Police Clearance, Court Clearance and such related papers.
Now, I'm all confused. I've gone through more or less all experiences in this forum, but never have come across anything like this for H4 visa. I do not have any criminal background and am trying to acquire all the requisite paperworks.
HOwever, please advice why do they need these documentations and how long would they take to inform me on my visa status after I submit the same. Is there no guarantee that I will get the h4 visa.
Murali/Simran and all others please help/ advice/ suggest what I should do.
