Hi Thiruraju,

I had got my L1B stamped from Calcutta consulate in April'05 and started working in US from August'05. Then in April'06. I applied for COS from L1 to H1B. My H1B got approved in Sep'06 and in October'06 had gone to chennai consulate for H1B stamping.

I would say my experience at chennai consulate was same as in calcutta.
On both the occasions the interview was only for 3-4mins. Pretty straight fwd quetions.

1. Where will you be workin in US ?.
2. Who is your employer ?.
3. When did you get married ?.
4. How long have you been with this employer ?.
5. What's your highest qualification ?.

If you are clear and confident in answering the questions asked by VO.
Then, I don't think there would be any issue at all getting the VISA.
One advantage I had was my employer is a leading IT company in India.
All my documents were proper.

All the best for your VISA interview.

Thanks
Sathish
