Hi ,
I have attended at chennai consulate on jan 4th. I got 221g and I have submitted all the necessary documents. Today I got the letter stating that"
Based on the documents you have submitted to us, and the information elicited in your
interview with VO, you do not appear to be qualified for an H1B temporary work visa.
In accordance with US law and Dept of state guidelines, action on your case has been
suspended and the I-129 petition for a Non-Immigrat Worker filed on your behalf will be
returned to the United States Citizenship and Immigratiohn Services(USCIS) wiht a memorandum
expalining the facts of your case as presented to us at the time of interview. The US
consulate in chennai is no longer handling you care, and will be unable to give you any
information on the status of you petition.
For you information , your visa was refused today under Section 221(g) of the immigration
and Nationality Act (INA). Essentially, the section states that a visa connot be issed to
anyone whose application does not appear to the consular Officer to mmet the requitements of
the INA or of the regulations thereunder."
Anyone Please help...what would the problem
regards,
Deepika
