Got H1B after 221(g)

Hi All,

I got 221(g) at mumbai consulate on 6th dec. I had been asked to fill up technical additinal questionnaire as my studies came under hitech studies. I sent them filled questionnaire on 14th dec and after abt 5 weeks I got call from them that u can come to embassy next week, on any day before 9:30.

I went there on wednesday that is on 31st jan and got the visa. I received my passport yesterday.

As murali says every one gets visa if the case is genuine, it is just a matter of time.

Congradulations! I also attended my H1B visa interview on Dec14th at the Chennai Consulate. I was given a pink form 221g and I have submitted the text file on Dec 16th. I came to know that my case has been send to US Department of States to get clearance since I am living there for 5 years and came to India for vacation. Since 6 weeks passed, my case is still pending at the conulate website. Can you please suggest me what to do. Please give your contact number of email to discuss in detail. For your information, I am Ph.D degree holder and working as a Research Scientist at the University.
