Hi Guys ,

I have some query for the H4 visa :

1. If I am in Us on H4 and I get a job , where the consultant is ready to transfer my visa will by case be takes from scratch for H1b.

2. Is it easier to move to US on H4 and then transfer the visa or apply H1b here in India ?

3. If I come to US on H4 in Jan and consultant is ready to transfer my visa will I have to wait till oct to be able to start working ?

yes, it will be a new H1
2. Is it easier to move to US on H4 and then transfer the visa or apply H1b here in India ?
all depends on docs, if H4 supporting docs r in order, u will get visa. if H1 docs r in order u will have no problem getting H1.
3. If I come to US on H4 in Jan and consultant is ready to transfer my visa will I have to wait till oct to be able to start working ?
yes, also u have to have COS H4-H1 approved before u start working, otherwise u have to goto india to get the H1 stamping done.

Sooner or Later, u have to go for H1 stamping if u ever goout from USA while working here.
