Non Availability of Birth Certificate

I am planning to invite my parents to visit USA, but i do not have my birth certificate.

I was not born in hospital, so i dont have any record.

I read on the forum that i need to get an no record birth certificate from municipal corp. Anybody knows what is the format for that is.

I want to know what is the process to obtain one or what is the format of the affidavit that is accepted in US Consulate.

Chicago Singh,

check out the Indian consultate website....they issue BC, if you provide them certain documents, like ur passport, approval papers, utlity bills, etc... and you can get it in the same day if you apply in person.

Infact, in Chicago consulate they issue Birth certificates.
