Name discrepancy b/w visa and passport

Hi,

My father in law recently B2(vistior) visa recently. The name in the passport and visa are not matching.

On the visa the surname column has the first name and given name column has the last name

Can you please let me know how this can be corrected (or if it even needs a correction)?
