sponsor on F1 status

Hi all,

I am on an F1 visa and am graduating in April. I would like to invite my husband to visit for a period of 4 weeks.

Would it be OK to state the answer to the question- who will pay for your trip? as "self and name of sponsor (myself)"?

My husband would be buying his travel tickets and I will take care of other expenses.

Would it be OK to show a figure of 5k as savings being a student?

Any help is appreciated.

The best thing for your husband is to apply for a F2 visa, that would have higher chances of getting it. And you dont have to provide any sponsor documents.
