My mother has a US Visitor Visa appointment at Chennai on Mar 7th. I have sent all the sponsor documents to her on Jan 15th 2007. Some of the documents are from around Dec 20th 2006, which means the documents (bank statements, employment proof etc.) will be around 80 days old at the time of the Visa interview.

Will this be a problem? Are there any restrictions on how old the documents can be? I wanted to know if this an official rule on this and If its OK in my case. If there is a official rule, can someone point me to the link?

Thanks

Generally it is recommded , not to have have moew then 60 days old docs.
But it should not be a problem, I know some cases where the documents were 90+ old.

Advise to others:
Preapre and send the documents only when the appointment date is confirmed. Do not send it such a advance.
