Interview in 4 days - Documents did not reach

My parents have interview on 29 of this month, I send them the nessesary documents 3 weeks ago, but it did not reach them. I sent another copy last week, that did not reach them either.

I have scanned all documents which I sent to them. I have no options other than sending the scanned copies to them and ask them to print it out. Would this be acceptable by the consulate? Did any of you have similar experience.

Better call embassy itself and ask whether they accept the scanned docs by explaining the situation , if not the clever idea would reschedule the appointment
