Drop Box & Chennai Visa Appointment Question

I like to bring my parents to USA. My dad is 60+ and my mom is 52. Since my dad qualifies for the drop box, when he applies for the visa, can he include my mom's visa application also in the drop box?

60+ age for Drop box is applicable for each applicant.
Hence your mom do not qualify for it.
Let both of them take an appointment and go for interview ( if they want to go togather)
