H4 Visa Related - NOC required?

Hi,

I have got my H1B on 10th Jan 2007. My wife is working and she would be visiting initially say for couple of months somewhere in April.

Now once we get passport for our 2 months old son, she will apply for thier H4. My question is - Does she need to have a 'No Objection Certificate' from her employer in order to get the H4? I did not find on this site but someone told me that it is required.

Please advise.

No its not reqd. But if its a govt job then you may need it.
