Hi,
My H1-B visa expired in Nov 2006. The employer has filed for my extension on October 19th and later upgraded the case to premium on December 9th 2006. As per the USCIS website, the USCIS approved my case on December 12th and mailed me the approval notice on the same day. However, 30 days have passed since then, but the attorneys still havent received my original approval notice that the USCIS had sent. But I have received the courtesy copy of the approval notice from the employer.
Meanwhile I have received a job offer from another employer. He is ready to do my H1 transfer. But I dont have the original approval notice with me. My query is : Can I go ahead and have my H1 transferred based on the courtesy copy of approval notice ? Or do I need to wait for the original approved petition and reject the current offer ?
Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated.
