got stamping, my inputs

Hi Friends,

I got stamping today. Thanks a lot to path2usa and other ppl who gave valuable info to me.

Three things I would like to mention to new ppl depending on my experience:

a) Go for the employer having more employees even if they are paying less. It really helps. If you go through a big company, it increases ur chances of getting visa to the maximum.

b) In case you land up for the small company, go with every possible documentaiton for the company and the project. Be very careful abt the documents, if you are going to chennai.

c) Dont panic in the interview. Mine went for an hour. He gave me 221g form but fortunately i pulled it back.

First of congrates for getting visa.

I didn't get you.Once u get 221(g) then you show the docs. on to the VO and she Pulled up again. or you Go to Consulate again with additional documents and they stamped the passport.

Please clarify this i am sailing in a same Boat got 221(g) asking for additional documents.

well, i meant he gave me 221g form and in that marked one document saying that it is the most imp document. i had a document which was similar to that. i told him that i have a similar document, would he like to see that. After that, he looked at the document and he was okay with it and gave me this visa.
