well , i am very thankful to the team of path2usa,
for including a topic for wives and dependents in their forum. i would appreciate if more people show interest.as a housewive there is not really much to do.
in the first few months i learned swimming and started going to the gym.
one thing that wives must do is,learn driving and get a license.the theory part is not tough and 90% pass first hand.practical exam needs a lot more concentration, practice and self confidence.life in usa will change if you learn to drive.you can atleast do some voluntary jobs, the best part is you can go shopping !!
the other privileges will be ,if you happen to call your parents or in laws ,even if your hubby is at work you can still take them to some nearby theatre or park.
i am interested in teaching, you can very easily find parents (indian and american)who need a tutor for teaching hindi or other regional languages.they will be more than happy to accept your helpful hand!!!
so keep reading and keep writing!!!
