Affect of visitor visa on H1

Hi all,
I am getting an interview date for my brother for visitor visa. He is 32 yrs, Single and develops software for Hospital industry and empplyed in India.

We want to process his H1 this year. What affect could visitor visa can have on his H1? Pls let me know.

No effect.
Each visa caterory has certain criteria and guidelines, so If some one applies for B1 and een if denied there wont be any negetive effect on H1 as long as the person qualifies for H1 and meets all the criterias.
