hi! i posted this mail long time back, pls murali and others give me some feed back !!!!!!!!!!!i need help and planning to apply for mom again .

I and my mom had the interwiew today at chennai consulate.my moms was the 3rd time and mine the 1st time.(iam married and live in cheenai)
the questions were asked only to me and my mom was next to me.he 1st greeted us and asked the following;
1. Whom are u visiting.
a; my brother.
2. what does he work and where?
a. Xxx and xxx since x years.
3. you are a doctor and u get 3 months leave?
a. yes ,iam and i do have vaction granted from my boss.
4.why is your dad not going along?
a. basically he is not interested and back at home have property to be taken care .
5.any other siblings?
a. no only myself and my brother
after this the VO took about 10 mins to browse his computer and also took a glance at my covering letter and said iam sorry i cant issue the visa and handed us a letter stating 214 b .
he shut his microphone and was about to leave the counter,
i requested him see my brothers letter to VO but he refused to have a look.

i requeted to atleast answer me my doubt and by gods grace he did on the micro phone back and answered me.
i asked him mom has been refused 2 times earlier but why?

he said seeing ur moms last 2 applications and the present one we the consular officers feel she does not have family ties back here.( my mom had applied in 2004 and 2005 and both times dad had not gone. dad does not even have a pass port and not interested to travel at all . my brother visited us 6 months back.it is really very frustating, my dad cannot go for a visa and the officer feels my mom is a potential immigrant ! )
i did not ask about myself as i felt he is doubting the fact of me getting 3 months VACATION..

over all i feel its too frustating , all the past applications are stored as data and they do refer the past notings, they do not even give u a chance to show any letters or documents.
can any one suggest where we went wrong? what can we do further to get my mom a visa? will a travel agent help us better.is it that my mom will not get a visa at all with out my dad going along(its not possible at all for my dad to even go to interwiew).
please help!

bye
