hi,

I will be getting my first W2 next year in february. I wish to sponsor my parents and brother for visitor visa and am planning to book appointment dates for march. My brother and I are the only 2 children for my parents. I had a few queries:

1) Is it a good idea if all three of them apprear for the interview together? I am asking this because we all know that visitor visa has a good chance of being rejected for parents whose all children are in US. Is it better if my brother attends interview on a different date so that my parents can tell the interviewer that their son is in india?

2) Since I am sponsoring 3 persons, is 7K in my savings account in USA sufficient?

Please let me know.

1. About the savings : Your concern is valid, not always but many times VO do look for the history of your length of employment and your savings. but this is not the only critieria so if all other things are in place good chances to get the visa.

2. About wheter or not they go together for interview, your choice.
I dont see any issue many people got the visa in such situation. At the most if you brtoher do not qualify for the vissa they do tell that they are issuing visa for parents but not for brother.
Some people believe in aplying separately, so up to you.
I dont see any problem in either way.

I have the similar case but with some more queries. Kindly request you to read the below and respond me asap:

I, Mr. Naresh Bhalala (Indian Citizen, Age:48 Years). This is regarding a USA Visit with my family.

I would like to apply for the USA Visitor VIsa (B2) for:
1. Myself (Age: 48)
2. My Wife (Age: 42)
3. My Son (Age: 21)

I'm sure about my family details to be mentioned in Affidavit of Support (I-134). but, not sure about Visa application Forms (DS 156 and Ds 157) and Fees.
1. What about VISA Application Form -----> I should fill only a single Visa application Form (DS 156 and Ds 157) OR
I need to fill individual for each of three?

2. What about Fees ----> For total 3 above family members, I only need to pay single application fees only ? (Visa Application Fees Rs. 4800 + Admin Fees Rs. 322)
Or it should be multiply by 3 ?

3. Please correct me, for INDIAN CITIZEN, Visa Issuence fees payment is cancelled.
