its time to take everything seriously. doesn't matter whether its indian immg dept or US, u have to have proper docs. we as indians whenever in india takes everything guarranted. if the same case would have happened in US, no one would have cared about it. How come u can travel without ur visa papers? But i think indian immg official atleast should have given a 24hr time to produce some sort of docs or visa copies. Atlast it all depends how do u present ur case? but its really a time to take everything seriously specially with kids.

I agree with Simran. Parents have to be much more careful.

But, it looks like law was not enforced when it comes to a french citizen, I think that is ridiculous!

I think the bottom line is follow the law and India has every right to send back someone who has no visa or a passport, I think the parents must have misbehaved with the immigration guys in India.
