Hi,

I want to invite my dad and sister on visitor visa. Now my dad is 70 years and has no intention of staying and my sister is 32 and she too has no intention of staying back. My sister is a computer professional with SAP experience. Is it OK to send both of them together for visa? Are there chances that her getting rejected may cause his to get rejected? It has been difficult to convince him to come in the first place so we want to do all we can to get him here and spend some time.

:)

I can understand what you mean.
I dont see any problem in general for Visa grant to your Dad But as a unsaid rule for young people specially in Computers and Student its a little tough ..and depends on the officer so chances may be 50-50 for your sis.
Many times it happens that even 2 persons applied togather but the conular officer approves only one and may reject the other one.
But on the safer side let both take a separate route and let your Dad go through the DropBox becuse he qualifies for it.
And your sister should go via appointment. Must prepare your sister for the interview and hopefully both get the visa.

Good luck !
