Sending docs to consulate. Senior members reply

Hi,
My interview is at the end of this month. I want to know is it mandatory to send all docs to the consulate a week before the interview. Also, is it the original or xerox of the docs?

i think its mandatory to send some docs in case of mumbai consulate only.
