Hi,

My parents are going for the visa interview tomorrow when i checked the website for the visa issuance fee its mentioned non-immigrants dont have to pay the visa issuance fee. Can anyone please confirm this who recently went for the visa stamping and didnt pay the fee.

Please help me its very urgent

Yes, thats correct. don't have to pay visa issuance fee.

My mother's interview was on Nov 30th, she did not have to pay the visa issuance fee.

My MIL's appt was on 11/27/06. Her DD for Rs.2300/- was returned back. There is no more 'visa issuance fee' for Indian nationals for Tourist visa.
